What row does the railing stop being a viewing obstruction in the 300's? Row D? That's four rows up. How high up should we be so we don't have to sit up super straight or duck under to prevent a view of the railing?

After 10 mins of your first game you don't even notice the railing. It just disappears and your head and eyes just naturally adjust. Get as low as you can. I'm in the first row and the railing isn't a factor.

I hear that but my wife will throw a fit if she finds out we spent $500 on season tickets with a damn railing view. So in order to not have to worry about it at all, how far back should we be?

I'm not positive but it's probably the 3rd or 4th row. Tomcat I think is 4th row so maybe he'll comment.

My wife and I are in the third row. My wife has no issue w/ the railing, and would sit lower still when the first two rows open up.

I sit in 309 B. I LOVE it. I am pretty sure that C is unobstructed.

I'm with Bees. I don't even notice the rail. However, it was really good that there is one because perhaps 8 years ago or so, when I was a much younger woman, we won a very exciting game at the last second and somehow I found myself launched into the air, landing next to the railing, which I grabbed and then flailed my body about wildly while shrieking, "YES! YES! YES!" When I came to, I saw that many people were staring at me.

Someone said it looked like I was being electrocuted.

But I like the view fine.

OK, this gave me a chuckle!

Aaaaaaand...that's how babies are made, Bobby.

We're in D and I've never noticed the railing. Could be a slight obstruction when you're closer to the aisle and the railing up front is a little higher, but as someone said, it's so thin that you'd only be bothered by it if you tried to focus on it.

Yes, I sit in the 4th row for basketball. The railings are too low to obscure the sightline to the court/bench area in any way. Even when the b@stards in the first row hang their coats on the railings directly in front of me. ;)

Seriously, this is a non-issue. The angle is wrong and even if it wasn't, the railings are really narrow and unobtrusive.

I have sat in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth rows and this applies to all of them...

Issue those folks garbage bags to put their jackets in and then under their seat.

Hanging coats aren't a problem either. The railings are a non-issue. Period.

Just don't jump over those railings when things are going bad.

And when the b@stards in Row A hang their coats on the railing in front of me in Row B, it still does not block the view. Every now and then I am able to hang MY coat on the railing, particularly helpful when drunk people sit behind us. Oh, the stories I could tell . . .
