I have no inside info on this. But you would be crazy to not want him. Is he the best QB ever? No. But he’s certainly someone you’d want. Him and Angeli would be a very good QB room. Railoa would certainly help this team and is a potential draft pick in a year or two. You don’t turn down players like that at Syracuse. Certainly at the QB spot. He would be really good in this offense too. We saw what McCord and Angeli could do in this offense. He’d likely put up similar numbers. I’d take him in a heartbeat

I figured it was false but what place right now outside of Baylor (lagway is still undecided) doesn’t have a starting qb in portal to there team yet? I’m sure there is a couple schools but makes you wonder that slim chance.

If you can get him you take him 100%. Greater than 50% chance if he is healthy and beats out Angeli and wins the starting job, he’s a 1st round pick. I believe in Angeli, but you can’t pass up opportunities like this especially if they have any doubts on Angeli health by September.

Oregon, Miami, Ole Miss and Baylor are the big ones that come to mind

No you don't ... if you think caretaker was tough wait to you deal with the family ... they are a nightmare. Also he is coming off a broken leg ... this is all the way around bad and adds no value for 2026 IMHO and is a waste of NIL ... this is a signing of a name that is it.
