Seriously...stop with the refs and the rankings and every other piece of garbage that doesn't relate to what happens on the floor with this team. Until we figure out how to:

1. Not come out flat
2. Have some type of half court offense besides a high ball screen
3. Get a defensive rebound

...we should stop complaining. Yes, the refs were bad but they were bad both ways. Yes, the refs are often bad and yeah other teams don't drop as far when they lose. Who gives a rats a$$.

If we can't do the three things above, none of that matters.

pretty sure everyone complaining about refs has said bad both ways

No, they have not. Maybe today...whatever. But in general all the complaining about the refs needs to stop until we figure our own house out.

Well said. These points are all symptomatic of not being confident nor aggressive. Further, refs will naturally give the calls to the player who looks confident and quick to the play (think Georgetown when they play well), not to the player who looks tentative and late to the play. We play best when we are quick to the ball on defense and rebounding, and when we are quick, confident, and committed on offense.

I thought we played well on D, and actually well on offense, too, in terms of getting enough decent shots. But our shooters just couldn't hit the water from a boat.

This, IMO, is the key. We don't look like the same team from early in the season. That said, getting a win on the road in this bad of a game is a statement (positive) in itself.
