Agreed. Mike was more of a situation where PT, system and the other players there and scheduled to be there meant not a great opportunity for more PT. No way Mike was a team problem or JB would not have taken him on because K would have warned him off. If anything in that situation K likely helped foster the Mike to SU transfer once he had decided to transfer. I think we were involved in his recruitment early on before Duke became the clear leader so he was always viewed as a fit for our system.

My impression is that Duke has a large and convoluted basketball administrative structure. The people at the top all have myriad spokespersons shielding them from direct contact with the media. "Plausibility deniability."
