What a s**tshow (lack of a) move by the NCAA. It can act swiftly and defiantly in one of the landmark punishments without conducting its usual due process in a Penn State manner, but can't get its act together to issue a simple ruling in the matter of a kid's eligibility.

Today they ruled (or apparently notified UNC) that there was no fraud at UNC for their academic scandal :crazy:

I was a head coach back in the 90's (not football) and the review board met once a month during the school year.
If your case was not on the docket, you would be pushed back till the next month's meeting (usually due to a lack of info/paperwork needed to render the decision).
Not sure if it is still that way now, but that is how I remember it back then.

-they only met X times a year to review cases, and you had to have your paperwork in X days before the next meeting?

I don't know how this works with the NCAA but for the sake of this kid I would think HCDM or Dr. DG would be more vocal about getting a ruling.
