Class of 2026 RB D'Antae Sheffey (PA) COMMITTED TO SYRACUSE (4/20/24)

This has to be some sort of collective fever dream we’re having, at this point there’s no way this is real!

Fran just needs to show results in the win column this year and it feels like this ship could really blast off.

This is special Boom for sure! Come on with it Denzel!

There it is

That video game graphic is worlds better than previous content coming from the Orange.

The whole program is hitting in all cylinders, but this one difference is just a microcosm of all the changes Fran Brown has brought with him.

Amazing.
I've heard that the entire staff is pushing hard. Includes staff that do things like this. All aspects elevated now.

I mean it's good and relevant but I thought our graphics for recruiting have been strong for years now.

Interesting. Maybe we are recruiting him as a DB and he decided he wanted to play there full time since that is what he will likely play in college?

Also a big factor is Harrisburg has another top RB recruit in PSU commit Messiah Mickens ranked #5 in PA and Sheffey is #16.

Stats I found:

4 attempts 21 yards vs La Salle (which they got blown out in)
no stats vs Bishop McDevitt (their QB ran for 117 and Mickens only had 30)
vs. State College, his former team I found this It was a special day for Sheffey as he got to take on his former teammates for the first time. Sheffey said, “I’ve been wanting to play State College for sure. It’s unfortunate I got this hand thing, injury, before the game, but this was definitely a game I had circled on my calendar.

also fun fact about Harrisburg High, they are not allowed to play night games...pretty awful area of the city that High School is in.

Glad to see he is back at state college, he didn’t get to see the ball much last year at Harrisburg.
Harrisburg is a tough area. Can't imagine those that came through the ranks were too accepting of an outsider stepping in to replace one of their local guys. Lord knows I wouldn't have been very welcoming at 15-18 years old. Is interesting to see Harrisburg High doing better at retaining talent, historically all the elite talent in that area would end up at McDevitt
