OMG people - look at the video.That's what people said about Mike Hart too. He worked out pretty well for Michigan.
Yes. He's shifty and fast. Really fast. Southlake would beat up on all of the B schools and also some A1 and A2 schools up there. The 4A schools down here look like D1 college teams already. Also, It's not like he is a 2 star with offers from Wyoming and Vanderbilt either.Uhhh - did you watch the video?

I'm an admin, but . He picked his school even before that article. Are you really this dense and childish?
This is one of the more interesting possible ripples from Washington's commitment. I've got to think this buys Shafer some time.IMHO, Shafer should get a 2 year extension right now. He has the chance to bring in an incredible class this year and the recruits should be able to commit without having to worry about if Shaf is going to be around.
Haskins is currently favoriting basically every reference to Syracuse and RW right now.
I have said before he is recruiting a lot of people to come here it will be hard to bail after that. He also has been recruited by the best and come to cuse. And dad told me his commitment will be solid. He said they were very young that first time around with miss. Dad said he isn't going anywhere
Also heard that him and Diggs are a "package deal" so has Cuse been in contact at all with Diggs?
Count me in.Perhaps we could get a small contingency of Orange to support RW at one of his home games next fall. That would be pretty sweet. There are enough of us down here to make that happen.
Let me guess. Bees was responding to Cuse Hulk?My favorite post of yours all time
Like has been mentioned, Washington has seen the best pitches these staffs have to offer already and turned them down. No reason to think anybody will flip him. Especially if he gets one or two more kids comitted to the cuse in the next few months/before senior season starts.What's kinda nice is that RW isn't the kind of kid that's going to get tooooo starry-eyed with the glitz and glam of high D1 recruiting. That's exactly what Alabama, OSU, etc. will try to shove in his face until the signing period to flip him. So, unless they can sell a close, tight-knit, family-oriented atmosphere, that resembles a home rather than a hotel, I don't think he'd be going anywhere.
This morning I woke up early and just sat and read all the crush of media that took place yesterday. First thing I noticed was how clueless the media and fans are to what actually happened yesterday. Second was when I ventured in and read the comments. From them genius at UM that said coach Harbaugh stopped recruiting him cause he isn't a very good back.( luckily one astute Michigan fan pointed out HCSS wiping the floor with harbaugh for pickard and now washington) then came the florida guys who said the kid wasn't good enough for them( apparently fl feels they are better than every other college including the champs cause they all seemed to want him) but the thing that I enjoyed the most was them putti down syracuse. I enjoyed hearing how he could go their school cause he wouldn't be able to be a star there. Well first I will say perfect cause he will be a star here. Second keep discounting the Cuse cause he is recruiting minutes after he commited and talking with all the people your staff have on the top line of their boards. I believe if washington spends some time and talks with these top of board players he can convince them of what he has been saying. He keeps referencing the 80s U. He keeps saying the 80's U stunk 3 and 9 teams then 3 or 4 friends got together and went to play and created a dynasty that lives on in college football history. Robert wants to do this. He doesn't just want to play here. He wants to make history here. He wants to be the guy years from now that him and his friends are being interviewed for their 30 for 30 telling the stories of how they went from 3 and 9 to a championship. We been sayingn it since day one. Now Washington isn't going to make the difference between 3 and 9 and undefeated but him and the kids here already and 5 or 6 friends then the excitment bringing in more top players can be the path to greatness. All you naysayers who put this down who put down hcss and staff. I got a request... Sit back enjoy your negativity queitly on the couch cause me and my son are ready for this team to blow up. We are ready for a great team to be building up. We are ready for Syracuse to be the program other schools say they are going to be tough to beat on the field and in recruiting.

ETA: The most important thing I'd heard about this kid is from the 2014 spring game (I think) about how he was on campus and people who saw him said he had the biggest legs they'd ever seen. A great attribute for an RB.
:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:
The parts of the video from when he was a little kid.
Toga,you don't get it. If he played for Independence HS (4A), Butler (4A), or West Charlotte (4a) he would still start and dominate. Just because he is at a smaller school doesn't mean he isn't good. I watched his 2014 highlight video from Hudl. No, I didn't watch his Freshman highlights and don't know exactly what you're referring to. Anyhow, some of his competition isn't the greatest. Southlake only had about thirty players last year. I am not denying that he is playing in a less competitive league. What I am saying is that he is a good running back no matter what league he plays in. We will have to wait until this year to see how he plays against better competition.
Thanks Jekelish and sorry Toga. I am a little slow sometimes. I have a hard time not defending Robert. I may need to take a valium after work. :bat:You're missing his joke. The video he's referring to includes clips of Robert playing pee wee football. Toga is joking about how "small" the competition looks because he's literally playing against 11 and 12 year olds in some of the clips
It's a joke. He's making a joke.

In tittle only as he is expected not to teach as he is being kept around for appeals only.The guy who retired it for a ticket promotion is now an adjunct professor, whatever the *** that is supposed to mean for him.
New AD gets to make a popular move early in his tenure. And he has the recruit to give it to.
