Recuiting targets for NEXT year?

He is, when healthy. But I'm not sure he's an every down, between-the-tackles RB. It'd be nice to have that ability in a bigger back.

I'd like to have the players to not have to rely an "every down" back. NFL is getting away from that as well. Gulley 10-15 touches per game, AAM 10-15 touches per game would be ideal to me.

exactly -- you have four or five backs on the roster ... utilize them

I think we wouldve saw that this year if PTG didn't go down. Yeah Bailey can carry 20+ times a game, but it's not ideal. If the other guys weren't so young the staff might be inclined give them more PT. Shouldn't be an issue after this year.

RB rotations are fine when the backs are equal in talent and productivity. But I also don't mind the old school approach of featuring your best back and feeding him 20+ carries; especially if he's an explosive gamebreaker or a power back that wears defenses down. Or even better, a combination of both (Jim Brown).

It's hard to get guys with both. if I had to choose one or the other, give me the back with the speed to hit a homerun or at least have the threat to hit the home run. That's why I'm not as excited as most about AAM.

+1. But that's exactly why I am excited about possibly signing Morris, Perkins or Lynch this year. They all have size and speed.

Homerun backs are overrated unless they have a well-rounded ability. Give me 3 30-yard runs as opposed to a 90-yarder.

A back that breaks off three 30 yard runs in a game is, by my definition, a gamebreaker and I'll gladly take one.

I think best case scenario for AAM is Lendale White. Power back as a compliment to a shifty reggie bush player
