I searched for a place to post that march madness insta story on Red and this thread popped up. This is not a fire Red thread, it’s actually a 6-page thread from last year where everyone declared people should stop doubting Red and he’s a good coach. So it’s a great read.Wasn’t there a previous fire Red thread? What happened to that?
I saw that guy at halftime, got a good chuckle out of it.
Deny it was you, tell em you were attacked by angry Orange fan who took your costume.Maybe fie a lawsuit again the school for intentionally making fans so angry they are taking it out on you.Settle out of court for a Red firing.Yikes. Wonder if the kid in the suit is going to get in trouble for having that photo taken.
Theres a long list of people on the hill that should be fired before that kid.Yikes. Wonder if the kid in the suit is going to get in trouble for having that photo taken.

Red, Woodson, Payne, Juwan Howard, Hubert maybe, the guy at Minnesota, probably others.
The longer you wait, the harder it’ll be.I think Wildhack needs to make a move this off season. We see what Louisville can turn around in one off-season. They were one of the worst P5 teams last year and now they are second in the ACC. Wildhack also saw what Fran could do in one off-season.
In my opinion Kiyan is always going to be orange. He’s not playing anywhere other than Cuse. We make a good bite and Sadiq will stay too. That being said, you make a good hire and they will make good moves in the portal and bring in their own guys. This isn’t 2010 anymore. It’s 2025, you can have a horrible team in 2025 and then be competing for a conference championship in 2026 with the right hire. A move needs to be made this off-season and it has to be someone from outside the program
I think he’s gone this year for the reasons you just mentioned.I still believe that Red will get next year because of the reasons I've posted. However I don't think he is a good head coach. Things are so broken that I can't point to any one area of the team that is even close to ACC caliber basketball.
Everything is a mess. Obviously our major issue is a lack of talent.
JJ is a good player and yes he is a starting caliber ACC player. Donnie is probably as well.
That is it. No other player on the roster is a starting caliber ACC player. I know Lampkin started at CU but he has either regressed or was elevated by the 3 NBA teammates he played with.
Bell is probably a 7th man on most teams. Davis and Taylor the same.
7th 8th depending on game and opponent. So our number one issue is talent. Still Red has taken a weak team and actually made them worse. His combination of players and his subs make little to no sense. He doesn't seem to have a feel for the flow of a game and or the flow of his players. In short, he looks like he doesn't know his team.
Maybe with the help of team Melo he pulls a miracle off next season but at this point I don't see it. Next year will be better but I doubt enough to save his job.
His only saving grace at this point is Melo, the incoming class, SU having g to come up with 20 million plus for the settlement and his buyout. Obviously Red's coaching this year isn't the reason he probably gets year 3. It's Melo and it's money.I think he’s gone this year for the reasons you just mentioned.
If his buyout is that large we didn’t negotiate very well. His buyout should have been nothing. He had no experience, no leverage in negotiationsHis only saving grace at this point is Melo, the incoming class, SU having g to come up with 20 million plus for the settlement and his buyout. No way it would cost 20 million to get rid of him.If his buyout is that large we didn’t negotiate very well. His buyout should have been nothing. He had no experience, no leverage in negotiations
This still blows my mind. If his buyout is that large or even half that, Red isnt the only person who should be fired. Posting for the third time on here Red would have taken the job if paid in cans of speghettiOs. Unbelievable. If his buyout is that large we didn’t negotiate very well.
