Red's Postgame Presser | Colgate

Somebody had to say something to him right after the game because he started that presser aggressive. I'm also not sure I'm bragging up our rebounding numbers against a team with one big guy who got one of the more least friendly whistles I've seen in a while (if the officiated our big like that this board would have been on fire).

As I commented in another post - Texas is a huge game - for Red, the team and our fanbase - we cannot afford another 20 plus point non-competitive beat down.
I'm being serious with this comment. I'd sign up for a 10pt loss right now. Unless what I'm seeing is wrong we might get destroyed.

Not that I want Red to fail, but if he truly isn't good enough for the job, it might as well start to unravel now.

I fear the Texas and Tennessee games will be lopsided affairs.

Lampkin probably has a bad back because he’s carrying too much weight.
As a bigger dude, I don't think people understand how little 40lbs looks like but the effect it has on your back and knees. I hope this isn't an all season thing but if it's a weight thing, probably will be...

Red came into the presser salty. I wonder what caused that. I'm also not sure why getting more possessions was what he led with.
I'd love to know why an athlete like JJ is such a poor defender. He still is a disaster defending against screens. Guys blow by him. Same with Carlos who came with a good defensive reputation as the defender of the year last year in his conference.
Also in the exhibition games we didn't see guys jogging back on defense like we did last night. How Red addresses that issue will say a great deal about him as a coach.
Is JJ that athletic? I don't think I've ever seen him on the floor and was wowed by his athleticism. I can't imagine he's in the upper half of athleticism for guards in the ACC. I don't know what you guys are watching.
