Missing games and quitting the team is more than disappointing. I just mean on court play. Wright played like 5 games his senior year.

He should be playing more. JB has been horrible to him for four years. It's to Tyler's credit that he stuck it out. And enough of this motivating the player bullshit. Most kids today do not respond well to public humiliation. Nor would most adults.

I'd play Lydon at center most of the time. I like Roberson. I find most of the this team not-so-likable.

Lydon/Roberson/White/Battle/Howard.

I would rarely play Gillon or Coleman.

Thompson would sub in for White/Roberson/Lydon as needed.

Seriously, though, one of these coaches needs to fix Howard. And the one that broke him needs to be fired. He seemed overly confident last year, made some dynamite thread the needle passes, now he's bumbling mess. Fix HIM!!!!

Also, I would teach them how to screen. Dear god. Who is in charge of that? I'd fire that guy too.

Yeah, when teams pressure him he struggles. They need to find ways to get him open shots.

I felt the same way about Rak. Then Rak as a senior didn't give JB a chance. Wish Robey had risen to the challenge the same way.

I'd start Howard/Battle/Lydon/Roberson/TT

Reason why no DC is because I don't like Lydon in at the same time as DC and Robey, they clog the lane.

Bring in DC for TT when he needs a rest.
Play Lydon 35+
Gillon gets 12 mpg.
AW3 gets 12mpg.

AW3 is just not fitting in. His once in a while 3's are nice - but he can't pass, play D or rebound.

To me, you watch him last year, and the kid seemed to be very confident. He would drive, dish, make good reads on cutters. I'm not sure if the offense is just so broken because it's pretty much a stand-around offense, or if Howard's gone to h*ll as he's been forced to assume a huge role. Maybe he's overthinking everything - who knows. But I'd take last year's can't shoot version over what he is right now - he seems pouty, which is annoying as *****, and just lost.

Why can't we have a pass first PG and be happy about that? He'd still be leading the league in assists if White could hit a shot against actual players or if DC didn't every easy bucket.

Point guards don't need to be scorers. They need to be game managers. We can disagree on the scoring part but you must agree that he showed promise as a point guard last year. This year he looks completely lost.
