Here's the story.

I land in Rochester around 2:15 on the 29th. Renting a car, and heading straight to the dome. Question is, what the hell do I do with the car?

I doubt I will have time to drop it off before the game (I'd like to squeeze in some solid tailgating time)

I doubt I'll be sober enough to drive this thing after the game.

Is there over night parking anywhere close to the dome? I could come back for the car, and turn it in before the golf outing.

Would the rental place pick it up at the dome?

Should I just leave it on the street and report it stolen?

How are you getting from the game?

Still up in the air. Depending on the time of OE's golf tourny the next day, I might just catch a hotel. If not, I'd be riding with the old man back to PY.

grab a car from Hertz at the airport, return it to the 1216 Burnet Ave location and you can probably have them give you a ride to the dome. it is less than 3 miles away. Just make sure they can do it and you should be good.

same with Enterprise although they are more likely to charge a fee to drop at another location Enterprise Rent-A-Car, W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY

Thanks brotha, I'll look into that

The other option is to meet a SyracuseFan.com game attendee at his/her house or a shopping area. Catch a ride to the game and pick up the car on Saturday. I'm sure someone here would give you a lift to the game.

I had thought about that, but I'm thinking anyone from here is already going to be on their way to the Fine lot, by time I get off the plane

Hertz has another office at 300 Erie Blvd W that is only a couple of blocks from Armory Square. From there you can catch a shuttle from Syracuse Suds Factory (free), take a free Connective Corridor bus, take a taxi, get a ride from someone or walk.

Some may actually have to w*rk that day, so don't give up hope.

This is the plan I went with. The guy said he wouldnt know for sure if they could drive me to the dome until I actually get there lol. Worst case, I'll take a cab.

I could run.. less than 3 miles? I could do tha... wait... what? no. lol
