You make valid points. Unfortunately, that's what happens when an organization's leaders make mistakes. When you're the face of something and you mess up the whole organization gets taken down with you.

it only took a few at enron to punish all the workers there while arthor anderson helped them cover up their crimes.

Absolutely. I'm not naive enough to think this would be any different, it's just sad for those who weren't involved.

First and last, sad for the victims. No excuse for this. Having said that, it must be extremely difficult to go to the police against your friend if you hear a story like this. Not excusing it. He should have gone. He should pay the price for not reporting it. But to think it is easy based on hearsay, i think is inaccurate. Given the victim though, he should still have done it.
