I think Coach Brown has said we are going to run the ball and stop the run. Just listening to him sounds like he could love a good old fashion slug fest as much as a wide open bombs away offensive explosion.
The 1992 Miami Game at the dome in my opinion is the best game ever played at the dome bar none. You had number 1 Miami vs number 8 Cuse. While both teams could pass the ball and run the ball the game was really a battle of great defenses just punishing offense players all game long Culminating by Syracuse QB Marvin Graves throwing up on the sideline in the 4th quarter. We didnt win but went right down to the last play . Total great game.
I love high scoring offense as much as the next guy but man i would love to see one of those well Played old fashion slobbernocker games again in the dome against a great opponent. A game not won or lost by teams having to play smothering defense to cover up offensive weekness but, bye defenses that just imposed there will.
I found this link below on a Miami Hurricane website . It dated from 2018 but its under the category
