BTN Bowl Selection show ramped up the lack of respect shown for the 'Cuse. Mr Mediocre Coach Gerry Dinardo and the other BT shill talked about the gophers "getting a scheduling break" & how this is the most favorable team matchup ...". What clearly demonstrates they don't know *hit from shinola is they both emphasized that SU is "not a real physical team" - looks to me like good locker room posting material for HCSS. The 3rd guy, to his credit, did a passing mention that SU is the only team in the nation that has not allowed any individual rusher to go 100+ yards.

That's funny, Syracuse will be one of the hardest-hitting teams, if not the hardest, that the Gophers will face this year. I'd rather them think we're soft though.

As for being "up" for a bowl game, this is quite common for a team to be disappointed playing a team with 2 more losses. You ALWAYS want to play a team that has an equal or better record than yourself.
