It’s not out of place at all. Lots of them have those mechanics early because a lot of the pitch. Once you get to football full time you can fix itIt definitely looked better. He had a baseball pitcher wind up in the early videos. It felt really out of place on a top QB prospect.
From what I read he was behind a transfer at the end of last year at a minimum. He was going to be 3rd on their dc with incoming kids threatening to pass him, He was in the Jakhari Williams seat.I was told that he can make every throw. Has one of the strongest arms they have seen. I believe that he would have started for LSU if the other kid had gone pro. He has multiple years left. Great job by Fran to land this kid. We are most likely looking at Jak leaving and rolling with Johnson as the backup and the kid from Texas in the wings.
The LSU part is false. The Jakhari part is false.I was told that he can make every throw. Has one of the strongest arms they have seen. Jakhari is speculation on my part. Do you think he is going to stay, possibly start? The LSU part is false. The Jakhari part is false.
I'm excited about Rickie and what he can accomplish here, but we don't need to make things up.
I'm not just addressing this to you kcsu, but I keep seeing many people on this board and even other SU articles seeming to state that almost assuredly that Rickie Collins would have been next in line to start at LSU if Garrett Nussmeier hadn't returned in 2025. But I really question if that is true. Rickie has passing stats from 3 games in 2024, all before November. AJ Swann has passing stats from 2 games in 2024, all in November. Back when we picked Rickie up, I believe I had read that it was apparent AJ Swann had moved ahead of Rickie at LSU. Swann was a transfer from Vanderbilt that already had 12 starts under his belt there, 6 as a true freshman and 6 as a sophomore. I wonder if Rickie was really QB2 or if that was just to use him in the reserve capacity to preserve a year of Swann's eligibility. Later in the season with just a handful of games left, it seems Swan took over as QB2. Going into the 2024 season the competition for QB2 was close and fans were unsure who was going to win it to start the season. And apparently from some articles i read, the true freshman Colin Hurley was also starting to press those 2 for the back-up role late in fall camp as well.I was told that he can make every throw. Has one of the strongest arms they have seen. I believe that he would have started for LSU if the other kid had gone pro. He has multiple years left. Great job by Fran to land this kid. The Salt Badger, as coined by our friend SWC.How dare you speak ill of Brisly Estime. He won us a bowl game!
Im just going by the article that went out yesterday or today. Said that Jakhari was getting third team reps.I think Collins will be the starter, but Jakhari is still the clear #2.
Why would he be leaving? Because this board already anointed Carney as next up?
Here's me thinking you had some inside information and it was just summarizing an Axe article?Im just going by the article that went out yesterday or today. Said that Jakhari was getting third team reps.
Actually Schrader got drilled a few times staying in the pocket to complete passes when he had bad protection. Like the game winner against Virginia Tech.I just dont want him running like GS who got hurt a lot causehe ran so much. Run if u absolutely have to but all day.
My bad i thought he got hurt running.Actually Schrader got drilled a few times staying in the pocket to complete passes when he had bad protection. Like the game winner against Virginia Tech.
Do u think Jak leaving or have u heard for sure.I was told that he can make every throw. Has one of the strongest arms they have seen. Van Buren and Hurley would have had something to say about Collins starting at LSU.I was told that he can make every throw. Has one of the strongest arms they have seen. I believe that he would have started for LSU if the other kid had gone pro. He has multiple years left. Great job by Fran to land this kid. Looks like a pretty quick release to me.gotta shorten that windup to release the ball.
It seems your post is more wishful thinking than analysis.I think the offense adapts and Collins shows his strengths. The offense will be different but just as good.
Of course it’s wishful thinking. How could it be analysis? We have no data. And, I didn’t say better, because our offense was great. I just think it can be just as great, although different. It seems your post is more wishful thinking than analysis.
I believe it will be different with the different skills the new QB brings but I truly think it can't and won't be better. We had the best passing offense in the nation last year and without Kyle freakin McCord won't come close to that. And we really won't have the OL to make that up in running the ball in any significant way. Along with the fact the defenses we are playing will be significantly better. Here's hoping/thinking without any insight, our defense improves significantly to slow teams down. We won't and can't play 52-35 games anymore. We need more 28-21 games and through hook or crook get to a bowl next year. Any Bowl, and then we will be set for the future.
Right. What I’d like to think is, what we might lose in passing, we gain in running. He won't be Kyle McCord, but he can be a passing AND a running threat that can help balance the offense.
Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.

Analysis needs detailed examination of information using reasoning for a cohesive explanation. I hope you're right but I think analysis will prove otherwise.Of course it’s wishful thinking. How could it be analysis? We have no data. And, I didn’t say better, because our offense was great. I just think it can be just as great, although different.
