If that’s the case, and I’m not trying to suggest it is, more likely a booster gave Fran money to “go get what he needs” and that resulted in Rickie. That makes it hard for Fran to go back to that booster for more, especially if he gives up on Rickie. Of course Fran could just say “my bad” and hope for the best.

Collins is bad real bad one of the worst QB I have watched in Syracuse history. He does nothing well from a QB perspective. Can't read a defense, can't run, can't protect the ball, can't deliver accurate passes on back to back plays it is really bad.

I got dislikes when I stated with Rickie we could end up 3-9. Unless we win next week against North Carolina that BC game is going to be a tough game to close the season.

He was actually worse in the 2nd half. Just because he put up stats against prevent defense and a couple of terrible throws that turned into lucky plays doesn't mean he played well. He was awful any decent QB would have put up at least 4 TDs in the second. We had WRs wide open the entire second half.

By the way anyone who thinks we are getting a good High School QB to commit here is dreaming. When you have a sophomore and 2 freshman who don't even get snaps in 4 blowouts , no good High School QB is coming here.
Especially when they look at who played except for 7 snaps in 4 games.

He made one terrible throw just awful and was lucky and then made one good throw. Any decent QB and that was a 1 play touchdown to start to the second half.

Wouldn't that be more reason to come here? It shows we have no one good if they can't get in over Rickie.

He is only serviceable when the other D is in prevent. Looks like a nice kid, but not the answer at this level.
