We went from coaches playing 4D chess to coaches that keep using a thumb in a game of rock, paper, scissors.

Never seen a QB miss absolutely wide open receivers this badly. His mechanics are beyond atrocious. That long completion to a completely uncovered Cook was underthrown by at LEAST 30 yards. Insane.

I don’t blame the coaches one bit! The receivers are open! Kid can’t toss the ball for crap! The defense knows this thats why we can’t run ether.. no need to play honest defense when you know the only thing we will try is run.. at least the RB likely won't turn the ball over that Rickie

Wouldn't that be more reason to come here? It shows we have no one good if they can't get in over Rickie.

It is too late anyway to get a kid for next year, so it doesn't matter.

It just means the coaching staff isn't willing to try to make a change. It really doesn't prove the players not playing aren't any good.

This exact play is when it is over for me and Collins. There is no hiding from that. Worst throw I remember.

I think Joan Collins could’ve made that throw.

I could drink a dozen Tom Collins’ and still make that throw.

I blame the coaches it is on them that they keep running Collins back out there even after watching the tape.

UNC D looked even better today than it did last week. From what I have seen of Collins, this NC D now can feast on him. He just does not have it.

Is it an NIL issue? As in someone paid Rickies NIL and if Fran cant get Rickie to work that booster wont fork over the cash to the program again next year? There has to be more to it, because we are trotting out the worst QB in P4 and not even considering a change. It makes no sense.

THIS...and this is one of the many problems with NIL. And as an aside, it also unfortunately encourages PED usage for young athletes (and probably way too young athletes) to take an easier path to the riches!

Listen, say what you will about Collins, but he doesn't score points, turns it over like it's his job, and doesn't actually come alive until games are out of reach, so coach scissor cut hoodie better be prepared.

Collins is bad real bad one of the worst QB I have watched in Syracuse history. He does nothing well from a QB perspective. Can't read a defense, can't run, can't protect the ball, can't deliver accurate passes on back to back plays it is really bad.

By the way anyone who thinks we are getting a good High School QB to commit here is dreaming. When you have a sophomore and 2 freshman who don't even get snaps in 4 blowouts , no good High School QB is coming here.
Especially when they look at who played except for 7 snaps in 4 games.

That will have nothing to do with anything. We may not get a good high school qb, they are tough to get. But the fact that the coaches actually think that what we have behind Collins is a lot worse than Collins, is actually a positive for any high school kid.
