Rickie Collins

My opinion: RC was better in practice and not close to that same level in game situations. Often, practice is slower than game speed. Partially by design, partially by players holding back a little during the week to save the intensity for the game. Can this be directly measured,I have my doubts, just recalling when I played sports that was how it was.

Anyway, I wish RC well, I hope Carney kicks UNC's collective carcass to the awaiting buses without apology.

Rickie has started 2 home games. He has thrown a pick on the first drive of both games. Big players make big plays in big games.

I hope we only see Rickie if the other QB is having a rough go. It would be infuriating if Luke or Joe are moving the ball and they just insert Rickie because "reasons".

I also hope they give the new guy at least 3 series to get warmed up and don't look to pull him at the first sign of adversity. Would be horribly unfair, but it's possible especially the way Luke was handled vs Pitt.

lol. I have to admit, the first time I glanced at this post, I thought I read "Thank you for servicing my mom".

Self-imposed 1 hour ban.

Thank you for your service my mom
Did 23 years in the Airforce.
It was an honor to serve. As one veteran put it, "Thank you for my service." We got to see and do some things most people can only dream of. Please thank your mother on my behalf for her service.

P.S. There are numerous veterans, family members of veterans, and strong supporters of the armed forces on this site. In some ways, it rivals VATech and TAMU. SU has been good in its support of veterans.

SU has an excellent joint graduate program between the Whitman and Maxwell schools for veterans. They were a lot of fun back when I got my MBA from SU

I'm sometimes a bit hesitant to say it but I am one of the many veterans on this site. But I "only" served in the National Guard (the truck unit out of the E. Genesee St. Armory) and Army Reserve (JAG unit in the Bronx). Spent 4 months at Fort Dix for basic training and advanced school being trained as a truck driver and instructing others. Two week summer camp at Fort Drum, Fort Smith in Peeskill, Fort Monmouth, and the JAG school at the U of Va in Charlottsville. Would love to hear from all the veterans on this site with Veterans Day coming up in 11 days. (maybe we should have separate thread, or maybe it's already been done on here before I joined.)

Usually, there is something. You will learn that there are many on here who have served. I like to think that families of service members serve, at least almost as much as the service member. My kids had to move a lot, change schools, friends, not get to grow up with their cousins and grandparents.

And thank you very much for your service!!!

I have been watching a bunch of teams, not the A or B class, but teams like Idaho. We had a QB last night that couldn't pass to wide open receivers short or medium. Then Luke comes in and they don't let him pass or he was afraid to pass. From what I saw last night, RC is the only D rated QB they have, the others may have a hard time getting a starting job at a HS. All this said, yes we lost Steve, but to tank as a team like this after so much momentum is on the coaching, which has not been good at all either. What I really feel bad about is players like Valarie, who was making strides at the tight end position. This December will be a cold one, and I think the portal will be quite active.

Yeah after watching the presser I think Fran is going to be very active. I’m assuming filardi and Steve stay but the rest of them will be gone and he brings in a few quarterbacks.
