Rickie Collins

His only knock? Dude had no accuracy. And half of those carries were his own impatience.
Yea that throw to Gadsden to win against Purdue showed no accuracy... His first year for sure he wasn't crisp, but when healthy in 2022 he was plenty accurate

A broken clock is right twice a day

He completed 65 percent of his throws in 2022
Dump offs and short throws. Would love to be able to find YAC somewhere but not the easiest to find in college sports.

He was a very good QB when healthy, unfortunately he was always hurt with ankle, knee, shoulder, concussions, etc,,YAC is all about the WR’s we were a bit better in that regard.
McCord has become the new standard of comparison for his ability to throw into tight windows, to command the game with his awareness (except at Pitt!) and to keep healthy by staying upright. After our hunger for an elite dual threat QB, now we just want another Kyle. Not much to ask for, is it?

I know there will never be another McCord, but will Collins be closer to McCord or CDRW?
I was very excited when we got a 4 star from Florida at QB. Then I saw him play.

Have we thought about the possibility that he’s better than his mentor, Jayden Daniels? If not, why not? He can just go off this year. I think about that often.
