I find all the "loyalty" talk pretty funny. Fran has benched or reduced the snaps of a bunch of guys over his 19 games here and played someone in their place.

Football coaches play the guys they think can give them the best chance to win, largely without exception. So if Collins is starting its because of that, not some vague notion of "loyalty".

Fran's generally a straight shooter, but he also says things, like every coach.

Rickie is very well liked by the team. He has put in the work. He has a ton of natural talent. Will the light go on I hope so. Fran will give him a fair chance to succeed. The young Texan has talent for sure. Saturday night will most likely be Rickie's last chance to own the QB position for the rest of the year.

I am hoping he breaks though bigtime, seems like a great kid, easy to root for.

No one has commented on Rickie's new look. He's hardly recognizable. Looks like he's grown up a bit and is taking things seriously. Looks more the part of a leader (I won't go where what he looked like previously).
