agreed if he stays he should be commended. Its up to him to improve and Fran to never have us with so little depth again.

If I had an above market NIL deal, I might not be in a rush to give it up. He won't get paid anywhere near the same as SU anywhere else. Then again, I don't know if these things are guaranteed.

I’ve been wondering about this. He was given a two or three year deal that he won’t get anywhere else. If that’s the case I’d move him to te or de. He’s going to earn his money.

I wouldn't be surprised if we tried that with guys. I certainly would. However, I know Rickie's deal was one year. I can't speak to others.

Not sure we need to spend money on bringing in a QB#2 and a QB#3 though. We need a better QB#2 and then spend the money saved on QB#3 elsewhere with plenty of other needs. If we get to QB#3, things are pretty bad already. If we are going to move his position, let's bring someone in who already plays that position.

I hope that's true. I've been concerned all along that he has a 2 year deal, and SU will have to pay him to leave.

I could potentially see him as a receiver, he's not slow. Could run fleaflickers or trick plays.

Also maybe strong safety. I don't see him covering a ton of field but he's not small.

He is a good kid and a good teammate. We need a minimum of 4 QBs on the roster. He has talent but had a horrible year. Is he a starter obviously not. It he a good practice player and good kid in the locker room. Yes.
It depends on what he wants. Is he willing to step down a level to see the field. Is another team willing to give him a shot at our level as a backup. Who can we bring into the room.
At this point we have Belin, Steve, Rickie, Joe, and the Frosh. Does Joe stick with football, Does Belin have a chance to see the field as a QB. Who do we land in the portal. Lots of unknowns. Im sure it will all shake itself out but other than Steve we have a room full of question marks. Need to land a stud.
