I literally cannot remember Cooney hitting a game winning/tying shot at the end of a game. There are definitely more than a few I remember him clanking. Hell, I can remember Terrence Roberts hitting a game winning shot in his career. Makes me miss a lead guard like GMac. I can remember at least 4 or 5 game winning/clutch shots he made over his career. Cooney is the anti-GMac when it comes to clutch shots.

That's the closest and that wasn't a game winner at the end. It was a game tying shot with :35 seconds left. Couple more possessions after that even. But people talk like these game winning shots happen regularly. The opportunity rarely comes up and success even less for anyone.

Yes I forgot about the game last year. When he said VT I thought of the OT game this year. So that's 1. My point still stands. It's a rare occurrence to have that opportunity and success is even less.
