This was a big surprise addition. When we lost OOC games against Florida (at Mohegan Sun), Villanova (at MSG), and Michigan State in the Challenge (at home), I think our fans figured we'd just go right into the ACC segment of the schedule. This is big chance for us to make up for the San Francisco debacle.

I’m talking about both possible non-conference games and ACC makeup games. Say one of UNC or ND’s other conference opponents has a Covid pause, we could move into that slot. The best opportunity would be if we both lose a conference opponent at the same time to a Covid pause. We just need to be ready for these opportunities.
