Schools pausing/cancelling basketball activities...

I don’t disagree. Money talks. They probably don’t want to go up against the NBA playoffs either.

I'm not sure the players want the season going into May.

These kids have pretty stringent restrictions on them if I am not mistaken so I'd assume most want the season over in mid March. If I am a player I want the season over when its supposed to be unless I'm in Sweet 16/Final Four. April conference championships is too long they aren't getting paid.

Don't be shocked if most schools say thanks but no thanks to the NIT.
 
UVM women have decided to cancel the remainder of their season. They had been on a three game winning streak before a most recent case caused a two week shutdown.
