- SU 5-2 first time in long time
- NC State probably still top 25 but our comparative results say we have good chance.
- Family weekend
- 7 pm kickoff
- Tons of Intrigue Will ED start, will TD play ?
- Clinch Bowl berth at home
- 45 k minimum

I think we should all reach out to John Wildhack (jwildhac) and ask him to drop the ticket prices for all 300 level seats at the 50 yard line for the NC State game. There is no way people are going to spend $110 for 300 level seats at the 50 yard line.

I have had football season tickets for 27 years and just want this team to play in front of a packed dome this season.

At this point I would be happy with the 35k that show up actually stay until the end of the game. I really can't comprehend the people that come to the game, only to leave halfway through the 3rd quarter in a close game? Why even come at all?

It’s a joke. Way too many lame fans

They leave early because they feel like winners when they beat the traffic.
My guess at Saturday's attendance is 37,000. A little bump, but more TV watchers.

Like the idea but NCST doesn't have name value for fb, family weekend blows up the student section (i know, i know) and at this point let's just get >38k of solid fans that think about traffic at the 8:00 mark of the 4th in a 1 score game. I estimate 8-10k left with UNC up 7.

You bring up a good point Al, staying home for college or pro fb is increasingly more attractive year to year and thats a problem in both cfb and pro.

I have to admit that I'm a season ticket holder who left when UNC took the lead in the 4Q. Dungey wasn't doing anything and I didn't believe the HCDB would pull him. I couldn't stand to watch the beginning of yet another 4-8 season. I missed Tommy's spectacular comeback and I regret that. :bat:

Yeah, people love their couches and refrigerators. But, if you like that emotional high of "participating" in a close game, you just don't get that at home. You might get all wound up in front of your dog and your family, but you're not a part of the event like you are at the Dome. Let's go Orange!

NEVER leave a game early. I can only hope that at some point my life becomes so compelling that leaving a game early can be justified but I'm certainly not to that point yet!

Wouldn’t it be great if Dino’s vision was realized. The dome is filled. We have a defense that relentless. We have a special teams that are well coached. We have an offense that won’t huddle and is the fastest thing you ever seen...

Another chance for Dino to restore relevance in the program for the casual fan.

Pitt set us back a few games but a primetime win over the Wolfpack to put us at 6-2 would bring back a lot of butts in seats for the *Louisville game.

I do hope local fans come through on Saturday Night and he sees what this could be.. The timeslot people gave us a huge gift with the 7 pm kickoff.

I mean, they’re 5-2, ranked opponent, night game... what else are people doing in Syracuse at that time? Just go to the game. (This coming from a defender of the casual fans staying home)

Stretch run? There’s 1 home game left after Saturday. Nows the time to jump on board. 5-2. 4-0 at home. Chance to beat a top 25 team in a nationally televised game.

Haha, well I mean if you’re going to be all factual, fine.

I’ll amend that to say the Ville game and momentum into next year.

Good news is there are only about 150 tickets available on the 100 level.
Bad news is, those seats never fill up, those people pay the money and still dont go to the games...

It was insane. I mean, yeah, it was feeling hopeless, but it was never more than a 7 point game! We had timeouts left. They missed something fun, if they even care at all.

Lower bowl is gone and I'd expect us to move most of our $35 dollar tickets. But NC St is not a big enough name for it to sell out. We'll have about 44k there and it will look good on TV. Crowd will be awesome in person.

I want to go need the flights to not go up before payday. Might be a decade until we have another good Saturday night game the ACC TV contract is NOT conducive to getting this start time.

Yup the last 6 minutes after Tommy went in were insane. The whole Dome was standing the rest of the game. I can't remember the last time that happened. There were probably only about 25k left, but those 25k were engaged and loud!! The Dome was electric. You just can't replicate that feeling at home.
