An idea for the future as far as 501c status. Maybe he can set up to piggyback on the status through one of the SU departments. He would have to become a sub organization under them. One of the problems with that though is that it loses the grassroots feeling and becomes bound by University rules etc. So maybe not a good idea. The grassroots feel of this is part of what makes it so special.

There will probably be a 1000 posts with a 1000 great causes but it would be cool to do something like this every year. Whether its for a bowl game or the Boeheim foundation. I have no interest in attending the black tie type events that the coach and his wife put on, but im 100% behind the man and his cause.
Donating $44 or $50 to the something sounds kind of lame, but being a small part of raising $50k would be a good feeling.
I dont post often, so while im here...happy holidays to you all, and a great job to everyone involved.
