Tyon Grant-Foster, a small forward from Grand Canyon might be another guy to keep an eye on, as he recently was followed by Alex Kline, and he then followed Alex Kline back. Another alternative to Keitenn Bristow or Rashuan Agee. I think I would prefer Agee(mostly based on 3pt%), but he is more experienced than Bristow(Freshman). He was the WAC Player of Year for 2023-2024 and WAC First Team Last Year. Started out at Kansas, Played at Depaul, had a major health scare and played last two years at Grand Canyon. His stats are nice for pts, steals, blocks, and rebounds, but concerning with 3pt% and slightly higher than you would like turnovers. He is also reputed to be a strong defender and takes pride in that part of his game.

He's 6-7, 220. I would like to see us add another bigger guy.

But I like his highlight film. He looks like a better, more athletic version of Jyare Davis. He looks like the replacement for Jerry Deng. Looks like a good add.

This gives us Donnie, Saddiq, Kingz, Womack and this kid at forward. I don't want to see too much of Souare there, but you never know.

Please one more center, and then I'm pretty good with this team.

I thought Grant-Foster was a 2-guard not a PF.

Sorry if I got that backward. The kid from USC, Agee, is the 6-8, 230 PF with a sweet 3 point shot from the top of the key.

Foster Grant is the Jerry Deng replacement. You call him a 2G, but he's 6-7, 220, and has an outside shot. He's a SF. He's 2 inches bigger than Kingz, and most have him plugged in as our starter at SF.

I’m not sure if there’s any connection here. This would be an add equal to George. Would be one of our best players and instantly raises the ceiling. His defense and length would be much needed as well as his shot creation.

Sorry, my fault, long day, I made a typo in the post but got the title correct. He is a SF not PF. Corrected the original post to reflect that. Good catch, Thanks!

The way Syracuse has approached the portal, it does seem the Instagram connection is at least somewhat meaningful but I totally agree with you. Agee (USC) may be slightly better offensively (arguable) but Foster Grant is a more balanced player and much better defender. Either would raise the ceiling immediately and be the piece that gives you more hope that Syracuse returns to the tournament

They're 2 different players. Agee is a PF, Grant-Foster is a SF.

I would hope to see Donnie become that. He is better than Kingz and JJ. George is the glue and makes everyone better optimally.
