Years after Ryan Daly helped Aiden Tobiason as a high school recruit, the two are joining forces at Syracuse
Syracuse transfer commit Aiden Tobiason discusses his decision to pick the Orange.247sports.com
Great read. Points to the connections our staff has coming from different programs and backgrounds and why it’s easy to see they are doing things that aren’t as visible and have been grinding.
Would G-Mac recruit himself? He was only about 6'1.![]()

Think Tobiason is gonna need some polishing, but I see the vision with him. High ceiling.

But we're only getting MAAC players and transfers that no other Power Conference schools wanted...On Mike Waters podcast, Tobiason said that Louisville, Clemson, Cincinnati and Creighton were the other schools involved.

Recommend the podcast. He seems very likeable, polite and well-spoken.On Mike Waters podcast, Tobiason said that Louisville, Clemson, Cincinnati and Creighton were the other schools involved.
I'm wondering what exactly it saidSmall guard at Siena and small guard at SU are different things.
And the fact Moesch isn't committed to SU currently says a lot.
Recommend the podcast. He seems very likeable and well-spoken.

Michael Tobiason, Jr. - Deerfield Golf Club
Dear Prospective Student: I hope you will take the time to visit Deerfield and introduce yourself. As someone who grew up in Delaware, I not only have a passion for […]www.deerfieldgolfclub.com
Ephhhh Louisville and Clemson!!!!On Mike Waters podcast, Tobiason said that Louisville, Clemson, Cincinnati and Creighton were the other schools involved.
Oh, snap. Didn't realize. Sitting here listening to the podcast, and liking what i'm hearing and didn't recognize maybe it was partially cuz he sounds like 'home.'The last guy from Delaware on our roster went to two Final Fours. We're back!
I forgot about this tidbit in my write up above. One thing I liked about Tobiason is that he moves around a lot like the Sharpshooters from SU from years ago… Guys like Rautins, Cooney, Nichols, Southerland, White and, to a lesser extent, Buddy, Devendorf and Girard were notable, not merely because they made the three-pointers, but also for the before the pass movement that they used to get open for the three-point shots. Of course, GMAC would be the poster child for using screens and off ball movement to get open looks at the basket."Also like their playing style. They value spacing and constant movement. I think that's just an offense I definitely need to be in."
I like two other things he said:I forgot about this tidbit in my write up above. Tobiason showed some examples of that movement. A few times, he wasn't even using formal screens, just game action in the paint to get open. It was fun to watch extended possessions from Temple game footage that ended in a Tobiason open three.
The other thing I forgot to mention is that after he makes a three, Tobiason makes hand gestures that look like a combination of the symbol for "three" in American sign language and a frat boy saying "smell my finger."
