I understand walking your own path but man would this sting if we didn't land him.
SU is definitely in the running for Kiyan, but anyone who thinks it’s a done deal for SU may be very disappointed. I would not be shocked if he goes elsewhere.
Good for you.SU is definitely in the running for Kiyan, but anyone who thinks it’s a done deal for SU may be very disappointed. I would not be shocked if he goes elsewhere.
Sucks if that’s true. We need to land a high profile major legacy player like Kiyan, who’s really improving and has been showing out lately in AAu. It would be a win-win for both him and Syracuse and create major buzz around Kiyan and the program.SU is definitely in the running for Kiyan, but anyone who thinks it’s a done deal for SU may be very disappointed. Like, uh, good smoke, or... ?Smoke
What? weirdconvinced some of you wake up and sit on the pot for 30 minutes theory crafting bullshit in the bowl below you and in the bowl on the top of your shoulders just to spew for attention.
Smoke and mirrors smokeLike, uh, good smoke, or... ?
Ah.Smoke and mirrors smoke
Not saying you're wrong to feel confident, but I do think you're wrong to assume it's a done deal. It certainly doesn't help that we have sniffed the NCAA tourney in 3 years. Ohio State and Auburn are absolutely threats and you'd be silly to discount them. He’s going to be wearing Orange lol
Let the kid enjoy his recruitment. It’s a once in a lifetime thing. He’ll have his fun on his other visits.
All I’m saying is when Kiyan got offered by Syracuse. There was a big party at the Anthony household with a Cuse cake, balloons and everyone got together to celebrate. How many other offers has he done that for?
His dad’s name is literally on a building here. He knows the Anthony Legacy here. Kiyan and Melo are VERY close. He feels VERY comfortable at Cuse and views it as a home away from home. He grew up a HUGE Cuse fan. He is very close with the coaches.
Let him have his fun. In 10 years this will be the same situation as Buddy. When Buddy didn’t commit to Cuse right away and he started to get some other offers, people were all worried. Saying he didn’t want to be in his dads footsteps, etc…you listen to Buddy now and it was Cuse all the way, the whole time. Yeah he wants to create his own name and path and he can still do that at Cuse. But also when you are as close as Buddy is with Jim and Kiyan is with Melo. Following in your dads footsteps isn’t a bad thing and it’s an honor for people that are as close as they are. People who are close with their fathers understand this.
Yeah you’re right it is weird the amount of attention seeking adult men who act like 13th year old girls there are on this board. But hey that’s social media in 2024 I guess. What? weird
replying to this just so it forces people to see your post again. He’s going to be wearing Orange lol
