That was my first thought too, but took the lack of a name given as reason to think there might be a player we're involved with that no one is talking about at this point. Pretty crazy how our recruiting is playing out, and I'm in the boat that our staff is not adjusting their style/doing enough to appease the modern day recruit. However, I can't imagine there will be any way we don't bring in at least two new players for next season.

The not doing enough for the modern day recruit is nonsense. What we haven't done is not have our head coach out like everyone else does. I saw it happen to Big john at G-town and louie at St john's. We had two great kids slip away at the end to Kentucky and duke. It happens to anyone they are up against.

After reading through 6 pages, I'm shocked who we have become. Yeah we been trending down of late due to some misses but the whole sky is falling and Tucker is a Duke lock is just crazy.

We are SYRACUSE not BC. We will be strong again with or without Tucker.

My concern is if JT did verbal over the weekend and Coach K still offered. That's a pretty bad backstabbing to a friend. Now if Coach K didn't know then it's all good but if he knew and I were JB I'd be beyond mad.

Whenever the verbal took place they should have sent over whatever paperwork needed to sign to make it a done deal right after the phone convo...then communicated with him the following morning about it so it was a done deal before the duke call today. Maybe they did do that and he just pushed it off a little longer giving coach k time to swoop in. Wonder when the communication with duke actually took place and the time frame in between the verbal and that call from them...
