The post was in regards to how bad playing a SF at PF would be for a players draft stock. That's what they did with Tatum, a SF, and his draft stock is basically built off taking advantage of that mismatch. I'm not being contrary; I'm simply pointing out that playing a SF at PF can clearly benefit a player's draft stock if done right. I never said Tucker is the same caliber player.

To win this battle with Duke would do wonders for our program and fan base. This is exactly the type of player and recruiting battle we need to win to rejuvenate all of us. Not to mention, with Tucker and one more player coming in such as Thorpe, we would field a respectable product next season. I even think this squad would be a top half of the ACC squad because they would add the shooting to the front court muscle that we have. This is BIG, fingers crossed.

Yeah, things are feeling better. Like someone else said (maybe 20 pages ago...lol), the longer this plays out, probably the greater chance we have.

We have a little mojo developing: first Tucker leaves Duke without committing, then we get Hughes, who is friendly with Tucker and now TB and JT are hanging out.

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but him announcing tomorrow makes me think he's headed to Duke. He only finished his visit there yesterday and will be announcing less than 48 hours later...maybe Tyus Battle closed the deal today but seems unlikely.

Do Tucker and Battle have any prior friendship? If yes, then it makes sense to meet up today and anything Cuse related is speculation but if not, why would they randomly meet up?

I do think it's a funny coincidence that Tyus and his dad are in Atlanta. Just tried to lighten the mood, considering all the bickering that's gone on. Your post is fair and I get it but it's not rocket surgery. Most of us have tried to add credible info and opinion. My issue is with the bickering.

I agree completely. I enjoy all your posts, and yours and others opinions re what may happpen. And yes the bickering is a lot of it. ...the 1 v 1 off topic back and forth exchanges (and the jokes with no info, opinion, etc) are a bit much. Color me a curmudgeon. I am sure folks don't realize the cumulative effect of all the white noise. Not big deal though. Just my 2 cents.
