Nothing in recruiting is bizarre anymore. You have to remember that every one of the kids in this generation have been raised to think of their life as a reality show. They have (in their own minds) pressure for their show to have good ratings just like a TV network has. So I don't think the picture means anything to him about where he will commit. Who was it over the summer who committed in a video where he actually played basketball in the uniform of every team on his final list (including Syracuse) then eventually committed to someplace (probably Kentucky) at the end.

Alright guys, first time long time. Perhaps some of you saw JT's instagram story getting his haircut in town. I am friends with the kid who cut his hair so I texted him.

My friend said that JT said he is "leaning Cuse but still is visiting Oregon." Interesting he didn't mention GT.

Perhaps this all means nothing but thought I would share.

I'm actually not as stressed about this as you imagine. I do happen to believe we will be in pretty bad shape for small forwards with this class if we don't net JT. He is clearly our best option at the 3. That being said, I stand by my thought that it wasn't a great idea to let him be pictured in an SU uniform unless we are sure he's coming here.

Again, I'm passionate in my hope that Tucker comes here but I'm not a wreck over it. We will look elsewhere if he winds up at Georgia Tech and if he winds up being a star there or somewhere else, we will always have that picture. And yes, it will be frustrating when someone posts that picture. This isn't college football, where guys try out different jerseys all the time.

I still think we get Tucker and then turn our focus to Ayala.

I cant believe you care about the jersey photo so much. That is just so childish.

What do you mean turn our focus to Ayala? We can't recruit two guys simultaneously now?

If your friend was a barber who didn't know Tucker before yesterday, I'm not sure how much Tucker would actually tell him

Nothing new on Tucker here, but check out the extra love Mizzou students showed Porter, Knox, and Harris this weekend. Cool stuff. Recruits eat that up.

I can believe you are harping on a post of mine, as you tend to do. I have 9,000 posts, some are not my best.

I didn't mean the Ayala thing literally. I'm aware of how recruiting works. I just meant we'd have the 3 slot filled. That would be another box checked off.

If he's still visiting Oregon it probably isn't for at least 2 weeks (next weekend is Easter). That means it's going to slow the whole process down so I wouldn't expect a decision from him before end of the month or even first week of May.

Tucker did say he wanted to decide by the end of the April.
