Class of 2017 SG/SF Jordan Tucker (NY / GA) Leaving Duke to Butler

If you feel that way, you feel that way. I'm an alumnus as well. I don't refer to them as we. That's MY personal preference. Same with professional teams too.
Just a question seriously if it is a Preference then why are you questioning it?

I agree - but adding Tucker who is what 40th in the class improves us how much? High school rankings after the Top 10 are a crap shoot. I hope we get him, we clearly need him, but I don't think he moves us up from or off the bubble.
It's a missing piece you need some guys that can shoot some guys that can dribble some guys a cake to make play some guys that can play defense some guys that rebound we need a shooter with some versatility like a Malachi. Ask yourself if two years ago how good we would've been without Malachi

Or 2016-2017 without Andrew White. We probably win 5 fewer games at a minimum.

Imagine if we were Oregon. You guys would be freaking out with all the transfers and players leaving early for the NBA.

"The players can't stand Altman!"
"Knight only cares about football!"
"We are going to die!"

ruh-roh?
At some point doesn't this turn into a "ruh roh" for Oregon instead of for us?

I know people are down on the holes in our roster for next year, but at this point Oregon is returning nothing but their 3rd and 4th guards and a couple backup bigs that played less than 10mpg.

I know they're bringing in a top recruit and are still involved on a few others like Tucker, McCoy, etc.

But if your Tucker and your looking at the rosters, wouldn't you rather go to Cuse, where you fill one of the primary needs and their are at least plenty of other intriguing pieces? As opposed to Oregon, which appears to have a few major holes of their own and is already bringing in a freshman that is similar to you but higher rated?

Speaking of Oregon - does anyone know if Tucker ever did his visit there? Last I heard he was supposed to be going at some point this week but never saw where he actually made the trip.

If JB and boy wonder cant close this kid something is really off.
He starts from Day 1 no question. He will be 1 of 3 featured options for us.
Lay up.

As you know, for Syracuse-
Lay ups are hard.

Verbal Commits

Wow. That does look pretty ugly. Love these charts btw.

Should be going this weekend.

Cam Johnson has Oregon in his final 6. Him going there might effect Tucker
