JR to supposedly make his debut Sunday against the Mavs. Balkman to be cut, for some reason he never seemed to escape Mike's kennel.

Knicks are looking really solid right now. Chemistry may need to develop, but I really do not see that as a major issue w the way Lin has looked.

Their only real hole now is a serviceable backup at the point & if Baron can get on the floor he will be a more than an adequate answer to that need.

Melo is iffy for tonight's game. Could be interesting if he & JR make their post-Linsanity debut's together.

Totally disagree. Jr is streaky and, yes, he can be selfish, but if between Ty, Amare, Melo, & Jeremy he can't be kept in line then he will simply go to the end of the bench.

He brings "bonus" skills and talent to the Knicks, but between Landry & Iman there is no big open hole at JR's position that will require anybody putting up with any non-sense.

Best case he adds quickness, athleticism, and shooting. Worst case he simply takes Balkman spot at the end of the bench. A signing w only upside IMHO.

Played against JR in AAU; he is about as cocky as I've ever seen (and I've played against a lot of D1 guys), but I think he'll be a tremendous help. Arguably the best 3pt shooter in the NBA (you could make the argument for Allen, Durant, etc. too as well)

Perfect example of why this team needs J R Smith , landry fields is not a good scoring guard he's a nice option as a backup but 1 of 8 for 4 pts is not an option for a scoring guard. The knicks lost this game because of his bad play if he even has an average game the knicks win.

As long as Ray Allen is in the NBA, there will be no argument as to who the best 3 point shooter in the league is.
