SMU Postgame

That was a lot of fun.
-Anthony showed the second half what he can do when he actually doesn’t force and takes what’s there. He has a long way to go, but he’s a freshman with definite potential who could be a really good college player.
-so happy for Kingz. We hit on him and now he’s finally starting to understand how good he can be. Would love for him to be back next year if they can petition for another year due to his NAIA year, which may work.
-give George credit. He was very solid down the stretch.
- it don’t worry about the big picture. Just enjoy the day today. Happy for the players and staff that they got two great wins.

The final playcall was great by the staff. It’s worked in the past with the seal off by Will Kyle. Good on the staff for going back to the well with calls that have been successful in the past.

Happy for the team to get the win. However a frustrating reminder that the talent has been there this year and they should be a tournament team.

Yep you see this kind of effort and the Hofstra and BC losses are even more WTFs.

Shocked Red kept JJ on the bench it was the correct move and should have happened way more often this season but it was really nice to see him finally sit the correct person.
was he hurt? when he came out, he went to the locker room. eventually came back out. no jj nor kiyan the last possession.

Second game in a row where I thought our guys had better stamina down the stretch.

The SMU defender should have picked off that errant pass with a minute left but he didn't have the legs.

Nate had more gas in the tank than his defender on the last drive.

Good to see. Nice job.
