So Beck and Long

UNC recruits better than us and we were playing out of a 3 possession hole early.

I'm pretty OK forgetting this 3 game stretch even existed. We haven't played the best team either thats next week.

I’m not sure there are many offensive coordinators who could manage that game better with our offensive line and receivers who can’t win one on one battles. Seems simple—yet again, we don’t seem to be able to control the line of scrimmage with any consistency. Until we can, this will be a rinse and repeat type problem.

Teams are outmanned every week and compete better than we did. We pay these guys to design schemes to limit athletic shortcoming.

I don’t understand how in year 8 the o line is still this bad

Dino taking a lot of heat and rightly so but the Coordinators on both sides took the day if not the week off.
when We win all the credit goes to the great Beck and Yoda but when we lose it’s all Dino’s fault remember Dino is just the CEO

I disagree. Shrader locks onto his primary receiver. Doesn't go through his progressions worth a dam, and throws a poor ball.

offense had 1 sustained drive and the defense couldn't stop them all game. special teams can't tackle a punter. make him look like red grange. penalties aplenty on both sides of the ball...
why are people so down on these guys ?

It’s painfully obvious that SU lacks upper level athletes. We have some good athletes with ok speed, but we lack power and explosiveness. That’s the difference between good athletes vs great athletes. Three stars are not four or five star athletes. Great players make the interceptions that this defense didn’t make the past two weeks. Special players make special plays. I do think SU coaches develop players, but they are still not quite good enough. I think it’s a reason for some of our injuries. SU is going against bigger and stronger players.

Let’s hope someone else besides CDRW wins the job next year. Hopefully someone not yet on the roster.

And whose responsibility is it to evaluate qbs and go get better ones. Did Lamson get a fair shot… were there no qbs available in the portal who can actually throw a football?

Love Dino the face of the program but the man has consistently struggled to recruit ACC-level offensive talent at qb, oline, wr, or te. He should be fired for that failure alone.

yup. thats been clear for a long time..

And can’t throw when he starts to scramble

It's more like year 28- the best SU O line in my memory has only approached mediocrity. Some O-coordinators have had some success in masking the considerable deficiencies.

This^^. The Drake had time, to throw to open receivers, who made catches.
