introduce themselves to one another? After reading CuseTroop's Chicago journey with the multiple board members mentioned, how do you get to that point? I was at Cameron Indoor for the Duke bad call Jimmy B. flip out game, chatting with SU fans waiting in line, hanging around outside, etc. I felt this weird tension like do I make myself look like a tool with a "So, errr, hey, are you on the Syracusefan message board? If so what's your avatar name?!" it's a mystery to me, one yet to be experienced. I imagine it's doubly hilarious and awkward if you know their board name and they don't know yours. Enlighten me with some good stories of board member intro successes or failures!:eat popcorn:

And sometimes we would talk for an hour after we were done. That's how by chance I met one of the best men I've ever known, Dan Johnson.
With EastCoast2, it was a little easier for him and I as we already knew what each other looked like, but he knows my son is tiny for his age, and I knew EastCoast was super tall - so we saw each other a mile away! I think iommi was the first guy I met from the board and have met up a few times since. We have seen a couple of recruits' HS games together. What's great about that, is when we saw Moyer flashing some excellent passes? Nothing said, just that nod of confirmation like - DAMN THAT KID IS GOOD. Telepathy types stuff going on there.
