I think it gives people in CNY a reason to learn about something regarding current and past syracuse football whereas they otherwise rightfully don’t care.

Easier to market someone connected to Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little than it is with someone whos not.

If we go 3-1, generating hype may be the difference maker with a crowd in 1 or 2 crucial home wins.

I think there’s levels of importance to this other than acknowledging he’s worthy.
