With Jim McElwain out as Florida coach, Bet Online has put up odds on who will be the next Gator coach. And they have Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen as the favorite.

Personally, I’d put some money down on Scott Frost at 7-1.

Interestingly, Chip Kelly is nowhere to be found on this list, which seems insane.

Seems rather innocuous to me. I love how that one quote is blown out of proportion. How sensitive is the admin?

It's not innocuous when you look at it from the bigger picture - he has been given everything he wanted, his contract was being worked on for extension. Now a new AD comes in and he makes a public statement like that. Couple that with his "death threats" story, and you'll see there were things happening behind the scenes that had nothing to do with wins and losses.

Imagine the storm if he was to take the UF job and leave now. I would think they'll fill this job as soon as possible to get a start on recruiting which helps Syracuse to some extent. I gotta think Chip/Mullen are the top 2 and one of those will jump at it.

Frost is coaching a team in Florida right now. He played in the Big 12 but coached at Oregon for a while and now at UCF. He is a legit candidate though I think it’s Mullen’s job if he wants it
