So, what is a successful season?

I don't think we're beating Clemson.

But NC State and Florida State are both looking pretty beatable right now. Not saying we're going to beat both, but at home, either one is possible.

Wake is getting better. Two or three weeks ago, I would have liked our chances better. I think we can score on them, though.

ND, I feel like we can beat them. New coach. They already look beatable, and very human. No mystique at work here. The fans will be mental.

BC we should win. Pitt is not playing that great, but it's on the road. Tough game.

With 4 remaining road games, we have to win BC and 1 more.

Of our 3 remaining home games, all 3 are hard but winnable. I'm not sure that we can "count" on more than 1 win, though.

BC, NC State or Florida State, Pitt or Wake = 8 wins.

ND is gravy, could get us to 9 wins.
Right now ND looking better than either FSU or NC State.

Florida State has stepped up a gear in the 2nd quarter against NC State. NC State is going to lose this game at home, and come into our game 4-2.

I think Florida State is playing lights out in the running game. Their QB can make plays, but he misses a lot of throws, too.

NC State QB can't run, and their running game is not very good. NC State is thought to have a very good run defense, but Florida State is eating up 10 yards per carry.

Our only chance against Fla State is bend but don't break on defense, and make them string together 10+ play drives, hoping for errors by the QB.

NC State is looking pretty beatable right now, and may be feeling gutted after losing 2 huge games back-to-back. Their players probably think they will beat us because they always do, but they almost always play us at home. They are not going to be ready for how loud the Dome will be next week.
