Unfortunately not many editors employed anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if they write / suggest their own now. It’s fairly common as editorial staffs have been gutted.

I have a feeling that there’s a certain tone / approach to headlines that is mandated. People call it click bait, but at the end of the day, for better or worse, it is a for-profit business and clicks are a driving metric.

Also, sensationalism has been in newspapers as long as there have been newspapers.

I agree, but she does sit next to Axe during pressers and it makes me wonder how much influence he has on her.

For me, the worst thing about Axe is he never asks Dino the tough questions face-to-face, but has no problem dropping negative tweets or commentary that are, potentially, program damaging. Imo...he's a coward.

I think that's a very fair assessment. The features have been really good, but there's some growth needed in the beat reporter role.

Agreed just don't care for the guys outlook. Nothing against him personally I just don't think he has any great insight and don't read or listen to any of it. But hey we all have a job to do.
