I have a feeling that there’s a certain tone / approach to headlines that is mandated. People call it click bait, but at the end of the day, for better or worse, it is a for-profit business and clicks are a driving metric.Unfortunately not many editors employed anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if they write / suggest their own now. It’s fairly common as editorial staffs have been gutted.
I don’t understand the Emily slander. I’ve been very impressed by her, pop culture Tweets aside. She knows her stuff. They’re weak. At least have the fortitude to ask the tough questions. But lobbing in softballs only to then be tougher when nobody’s watching isn’t doing a good job either.
It should be of extreme importance to him to see our programs have success. There’s plenty of positive spins instead of the usual well that’s Syracuse university and they don’t and we won’t aIt is in no way his job to be an ambassador for the program. He doesn't work for the school or the football program.
She’s done some nice work there’s hope for her in the futureI don’t understand the Emily slander. I’ve been very impressed by her, pop culture Tweets aside. She knows her stuff.

They sit next to each other, so therefore he has sway over her? That's some serious message board conjecture.I agree, but she does sit next to Axe during pressers and it makes me wonder how much influence he has on her.
I have appreciated her features, but her attention to detail and analytical approach to football leaves a lot to be desired. The article analyzing the roster a couple of weeks ago was rife with errors.I don’t understand the Emily slander. I’ve been very impressed by her, pop culture Tweets aside. She knows her stuff.

But I'm pretty sure Axe is a Newhouse Adjunct who has taught at SU in the past.
A potential sticky wicket for journo ethicists.
(I couldn't care less as I've disliked Axe for 20 years)
Saw his TV show once or twice and that was as much as I could stand.I just stopped reading and listening to him. I never get aggravated. It’s great!
Nothing but chasing clicks….sad.
My kingdom for Donnie Webb and Dave Rahme…

He’s employed to be an ambassador of the program? Missed that. How is Brent axe still employed he’s terrible. He’s such a terrible ambassador for the program. Is he through the post standard or a different media outlet?
