I don't actually know anything, have any insider info, or competence, but I have a hunch that we're going to see a few guys break through as difference makers and nobody's really talking about them.

Anthony Queeley - he's coming off of a decent season as a starter. I'm assuming his play last season is his floor and he's improved. It won't surprise me if he has a big 50+ reception season.

Carlos Vetterello - a lot of folks were ready to bump him from his starting center spot in favor of lesser known players that haven't seen the filed nearly as much. And yet, with a new OL coach, he held the job. I'm taking that to mean that with the additional off-season properly dedicated to s&c and Schmidt's coaching that not only is Vet our best center, but he's going to make a move into being a plus lineman.

Marlowe Wax - he had a downhill presence last season, and it looks like he's not looking back after securing a starting spot. He's a bad man. I think he's going to cause problems for other teams.

Cornelius Nunn - we all love Garrett, and I keep thinking to how before his injury, Nunn was rotating time at CB. He's working his way back. I'm very excited about Chestnut, but when the starting CBs need a breather I think Nunn will make it feel like there's not much drop off.

Alrighty, who you got? Any other under the radar dudes you feel have it in them to go up a level?

Justin Barron
Oronde Gadsden II
Maximilian Mang

I just keep picturing fades and jump balls to Alford for TD's
Duce looks like the next in line of Sunday DB's
DeVito, ya I said it. I think the OLine will greatly improve with the new Coach and camp time. The whole O will breakout, but rise or fall DeVito is where everyone's eyes will land

I like your Queeley pick. He was steady and I think he takes a leap. For me, the jury is very much out on Vet. I hope he has a nice season, but I'm skeptical.

I think you nailed it with Wax. I'll throw in Stefon Thompson as my guy. Our LB trio can play!

For me, I don't know if they are under the radar, but it's Wax and Duce I'm most excited about on D. I really like Wax, especially.

On O, saying Tucker isn't identifying anyone under the radar. What I will say is that I want him to surprise on a national scale. I want by like the fifth or sixth week to all of a sudden have national media guys going, "you know how Syracuse is surprising teams this year... we knew Tucker could be good, but he's exceeding everyone's expectations and is a real force to be reckoned with". That type of stuff.

I like his game a lot. Seemed to get lost a little bit last season but has the athleticism to still make things happen. Definitely a dude that's on a great growth trajectory.

Trebor Pena on returns.

Curtis Harper has had a quiet career. Could have a big shot these first couple of games.

I think Jarveon Howard will make the most of his opportunities.

This guy isn't under the radar, but I think TD is going to have a monster season. He's got competition pushing him now, an improved line, more options at receiver, an actual QB coach, and what I think is going to be an awesome run game which will keep LB's and safety's honest.

Rhino. He will be able to play.his position and pick up 440 yards. Since he"s played most other positions on the field, the NFL has 10 or more teams sweet talking him.

And if any kid in Orange deserves it, it's Rhino. Along with several others.

Stefon and Marlowe love inflicting the boom

Queeley was open deep numerous times last season and the QBs either overthrew him or didn't have time to get him the ball.

Benson, maybe it is my hope: but I think he can be a matchup problem for defenses.

I don't really consider Duce under the radar. I think Coley is the forgotten veteran in the defensive backfield. If he can stay healthy, I expect him to shine.
