I wonder if any Syracuse QB has ever had better stats at this point in the season.

I know people would like to see more rushing yardage from LQA jr, but he's the best receiving back we've ever had. Usually our best rushers have 100 yards a game on the ground and maybe catch a pass or two. Allen's mix is different.

Agree and would add he is averaging 4.9 ypc. People act like he averages 2 ypc. His balance running/receiving/blocking is a really strong mix.

Seriously, x 12/5 = 4,354 yards 41TD 16int.

Ryan Nassib, 2012, has our records: 3,749 yards 26TD 10 int.

Most teams have had the highest single season numbers by a QB happen in the past 5-10 years because of how much easier it is to throw the ball now due to pass friendly rules changes, no huddle offenses etc. it just seemed to take us longer to find a guy who could take advantage of it. And boy did we find him. Thank goodness for the longtime relationship between Fran and Kyle and between their families
