Their are criticisms that are legitimate but criticizing JB while being a staunch defender of Scott Shafer make zero sense and lose credibility.

I don’t hate JB.
I get frustrated at certain things I wish were better.
I concede the next 42 years aren’t going to be as good as the previous 42 years.
We may win 2 NCs but it won’t be as consistent.

That reminds me of the mechanism of prescription psychotropic drugs that keep folks from feeling the thrill of victory just as much as the agony of defeat...but the opposite. Do we prefer the dull, warm, and fuzzy feeling?

Like you, Ive been a long time JB fan, but dont give him the god-like reverence that some on here do. That stifles progress when folks dont recognize room for improvement.
