Southerland block

Easily one of the more impressive blocks I've ever seen.
I was watching the game last night w/ my g-friend and I started shrieking hysterically and jumping around when the block happened and she thought I was seizing or something.

You too?

LOVE IT. Missed the 1st half of the game. Heart about the block, but now that i've seen it i'm giddy. Southerland really does have the potential to be a game changer off the bench. He has the skills, just needs to put it all together. Enough of the, dare I say flashes..., and make it complete.

Best part of the whole thing...that you cannot really see from there was the expression by the kid in pink when he did it live. His face was priceless.

Boeheim has the strangest mannerisms during plays like these. Arms waiving, one legged gyrations.

...reminds me of his reaction to Hak's block against Kansas for the NC win.

Amazing block. You could see on the other end of the floor after this play that Dion was looking to get James his shot. As soon as the ball went up Dion started going nuts. If he had made that shot I truly believe the Southerland we saw in out of conference play would be back. He nailed the next one he took though so hopefully we see that sweet stroke connecting in the BET.

Hey, VT. Long time, my friend. Good to see you over here.

You make a good point about JS -- at 6'8, if he can get his confidence back and stop forcing his shot, it will be difficult for teams to zone us in the tournament.
