Spring Game notes

I think Hunt is our best option just because of his legs. But with all those drops, why didn't they drop Wilsons passes who was 7-10?

Do you know when Hunt finally got his cast off and was cleared by the medical staff to actually start practicing again? Could it be that he is just "rustier" than Wilson and Long due to his recuperation period?

I never saw him with a cast, just a boot. I do know he's been throwing for months and worked with the 1's. I also know it was still a bit sore early in and he doesn't do a lot of running out there so maybe that effects his throwing because he might throw better on the run.

OK. Now this is probably going to sound dumb but if the leg was/is sore could it cause a problem in his ability to throw...due to distribution of his weight when throwing?

He was getting too predictable with his runs, though. You have to pass it effectively enough that they're not expecting you to keep it every time. Kind of like the basketball guard who always passes when he drives - eventually they lay off you and make you make the play (attack the basket on the drive, or attempt the pass because we're playing you to run with it).
