It was the knee injury. The clemson guy landed on his leg. Was it on purpose? Unclear.?? On the play Angeli tore his Achilles, he received no contact at all. How was he targeted?

We were fined for not allowing him clear access to land on the grassy field...It was the knee injury. The clemson guy landed on his leg. Was it on purpose? Unclear.
Not doubting you, but the rehab he would be doing at this point would be extremely limited. He’s still in the timeframe where they would be trying to protect the surgical repair (Swelling/pain). Depending on the surgical protocol he would just be progressing from partial weight bearing to full, as tolerated, and would be in a CAM boot with heel lifts when standing, gradually reducing the angle for flexion.Got word today from a direct source that Angeli is doing well with his rehab and fully expects to be ready well before next year. Was also told he tore his MCL likely earlier in the game against Clemson and likely contributed to his Achilles tear.

Read the earlier post. Steve was hit earlier in the game and hurt his knee.?? On the play Angeli tore his Achilles, he received no contact at all. How was he targeted?
So he was a goner even before the Achilles?Got word today from a direct source that Angeli is doing well with his rehab and fully expects to be ready well before next year. Was also told he tore his MCL likely earlier in the game against Clemson and likely contributed to his Achilles tear.
I felt that after he went down the first time.So he was a goner even before the Achilles?
On the plus side, they’re missing quite a few makeable shots. On the negative side; they’re missing makeable shots
WhoopsI think Angeli had all his shots before the surgery.
He’d be crazy to go anywhere else. Unless, it’s SyracuseHard to dislike Freeman. Hate to say it, but he is the perfect coach for a place like ND.
He's like the polar opposite in terms of likability from his predecessor.Hard to dislike Freeman. Hate to say it, but he is the perfect coach for a place like ND.
Also, as far as we know, has never killed a kid. He's like the polar opposite in terms of likability from his predecessor.
He can't have him back!![]()
Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman hopes to see former Irish QB Steve Angeli on Saturday
Notre Dame will host Syracuse on Saturday for Senior Day, and the matchup could hold extra meaning as the Irish might see a familiar face on the opposite sideline.www.wndu.com

2016 Dungey did, I don't think anything else has happeend our QBs down there.I swear that Clemson intentionally targets our QB’s when we play down there. Isn’t Angeli the third one to get knocked out of a game down there? I know Shrader did too. Dungey?
My sadness and acceptance didn't kick in until Rickie revealed himself.he wasnt the only one who cried!
yeah get it, me knowing this crap inside and out starting bumming as soon as I saw him down grabbing the calf knowing full well it was ova.....as my posts back then suggest. My sadness and acceptance didn't kick in until Rickie revealed himself.
So much hinges on the winter football season. We need an air traffic controller to track all the portal departures and arrivals.yeah get it, me knowing this crap inside and out starting bumming as soon as I saw him down grabbing the calf knowing full well it was ova...as my posts back then suggest.
BUT hearing him interviewed and his steely demeanor along with returnees and incomings (hs recruits and likely portal too), my cup runneth over with excitement and enthusiasms for 2026. Predicting an epic year!
Lets show ok tommorow, beat BC and get the momentum going...
Good point cusefan88It's no surprise with the season ending the Angeli PR run is coming through. Long P-S interview, Cuse Athletics Interview and optimism he's ahead of schedule.
A good signal to fans, recruits, and transfers that QB1 is ready to attack and be 100% for kickoff in 2026.
