Really hope he does. Steve is a great kid, and hasn't changed since before he enrolled at Syracuse. Real down to earth guy, and one hell of a player.

One of the weakest links in the Pats defense his first year, improved a lot last year but don't think he was anything above average. Good luck to him. Or the Pats might bring him back for half the money. Would be typical Belichick.

Gregory is a good kid and I think there is a place off him somewhere as a dime back or special Teamer. But as a patriots fan, he was badly outclassed when pressed into a starting role, and I think this coupled with this cap number led to the release.

Not inconceivable he could be brought back at a lower number, but pats fans may revolt if he's brought back to start.
