ESPN's Kyle Bonagura projects Syracuse to the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit to face Purdue.
The Sporting News' Bill Bender projects Syracuse to the Camping World Bowl in Orlando against Iowa State.

I'll take any one of them. Just get a bowl appearance.

Number of bowl-eligible teams: 28 for 78 spots
Teams that became bowl-eligible this week: Central Florida, Memphis, Virginia Tech, Miami, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Marshall, Notre Dame, Army, Ohio, Toledo, Colorado State, Auburn, LSU

Detroit is the closest to me so I will take that one...but like others said I just want to go bowling!!!!

FWIW, if anything, CFN.com has SU ranked higher than all of the Orange's final four opponents:

34 Florida State (2-4)

33 Louisville (5-3)

32 Boise State (5-2)
31 Virginia (5-2)

30 Boston College (4-4)

29 Wake Forest (4-3)

28 Syracuse (4-4)

I want us to walk into that BC game already bowl eligible. There's a good chance that game is going to be do or die for them. I don't trust the Dazzler to play clean in circumstances like that.

yeah, I don't like rooting for them, but I want them to win one of their next two games, if they do, they will have 6 coming into our game and won't be desperate (they play U Conn before us, I think we know who is winning that game). Of course, if we get to six before that game, we won't have to worry.

What a incredible feeling that we could win our last four, end up 8-4, and not be surprised. We played two top ten teams to 1-1 over the past two weeks, have a week off to recover, then play our four most similar peers this year. I certainly like our chances to get to 6 wins and am ecstatic to be confident that we will be competitive in every game, with a significant level of hope we could win out. We're better now than we were two months ago...

I absolutely love that. It's a traditional power that will energize our fan-base, but they simply aren't very good.

Agree - of the projections so far, that's the one that intrigues me the most.

Hey guys, don’t mean to go all CousCous on you - but I don’t think BC is a sure thing over UCONN. Looks like a trap type game

All of those possibilities excite me, other than W Michigan.

I'm set with WMU. All the rest would be an exciting match up. Even better would be getting Nebraska in the Pinstripe bowl. It would allow us to beat up on an old school blue blood, who's fan base will no doubt picture us as an automatic W.

id prefer not playing western michigan since we play them to open next season

Nebraska lost at home to NIU and couldn’t put away Rutgers until the 4th quarter.

I don’t think their fan base is putting anyone in the auto Win category this year.
